Ladino Assassination (daggers) guide
How to play Assassination (daggers) in WoW: Forever: what to press, which stats to chase, the talent build level by level, and the gear and dungeons to aim for.
Visão geral
This Assassination build uses daggers and big crits. It picks up Mutilate at 30, a new Forever attack that hits with both weapons (both must be daggers) and does more damage to poisoned targets. Pick it if you like burst damage and quick finishers.
Good at
- High burst on single targets
- Mutilate builds 2 combo points at once
- Ruthlessness gives free combo points
- Cold Blood for a guaranteed crit
Watch out for
- Weak against packs
- Backstab needs you behind the target
- Leans on poisons for its damage
How to play it
In order of priority for levels 20 to 30, on one target:
- Cheap Shot or AmbushOpen from stealth. Ambush hits hardest but needs you behind the target.
- MutilateYour main builder at 30. Keep poisons on so it gets its bonus damage.
- BackstabYour builder before 30 when you are behind the target.
- Slice and DiceKeep it up on bosses and elites.
- EviscerateYour finisher. Pair it with Cold Blood for a big crit.
- KickInterrupt any cast you can.

Dungeons to run
Where most of your best gear drops, best first.
- Razorfen Kraul levels 29 to 382 best-in-slot items: Swinetusk Shank, Nightstalker Bow
- The Deadmines levels 17 to 26
- Gnomeregan levels 29 to 38
Dicas
- Train poisons as soon as your trainer offers them. Improved Poisons makes them apply more often and saves charges.
- Lethality and Malice both push crits, so Agility and crit gear matter a lot.
- Murder adds damage against humanoids, so humanoid quest areas go fast.
- In dungeons, stay behind the target so Backstab and Ambush work and the mob can't parry you.
- Sap no longer breaks your stealth in Forever, so you can Sap and keep sneaking.
Macros
Make a macro with /macro in game, paste the text, and drag it to your bar.
Ambush from stealth, Backstab otherwise.
