Privacy policy

The short version

ONN (Olympus News Network) is a fan-run site for the Olympus guild. We collect only what the site needs to work, and we don't sell your information.

What we collect

If you sign in, we keep your Archway ID account number and email so you can log in. Your email is never shown to other members. We also keep what you choose to add: your profile and play hours, your characters, anything you post in guild spaces or supply requests, and, if you link it, your Battle.net account number and BattleTag.

The census uploader sends guild statistics from the Olympus addon, like guild sizes, online counts and officer names. Everything else in that file is thrown away when it arrives.

Guild HR may add in-game character names and screenshots to the Wall of Shame, which clears itself after a set time.

Visitor stats

To see roughly how many people use the site and where they're from, we look up each visitor's city from their IP address. We don't store IP addresses. Each visitor is counted with a code that changes every day.

Cookies

We only use cookies to keep you signed in. Embedded videos and streams from YouTube and Twitch, and our web fonts, come from those services and follow their own policies.

Who can see your information

Your profile is visible to signed-in guild members unless you hide it, and guild space posts are visible only to the people they're shared with. Site admins can see stored data in order to run and moderate the site. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

Your choices

You can edit or hide your profile, unlink Battle.net, or delete your ONN profile at any time from your profile page. To ask about or remove anything else, contact an ONN admin through the Olympus Discord.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the site and its data, but no website is perfectly secure, so please don't put anything sensitive on it.

Kids

The site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
