Priest Holy & Discipline guide
How to play Holy & Discipline in WoW: Forever: what to press, which stats to chase, the talent build level by level, and the gear and dungeons to aim for.
Overzicht
This build goes into the Holy tree for faster, stronger heals. Divine Fury cuts your cast times, and Holy Nova gives you a quick group heal. Gnomes can be priests in Forever too, and every race gets new priest racials.
Good at
- Big, flexible heals

- Fear Ward and Divine Spirit for everyone
Watch out for
- Slow to level alone
- Cloth armor
- Mana runs out if you overheal
How to play it
In order of priority for levels 20 to 30, on one target:
- RenewKeep it on the tank. It can stack with another priest's Renew in Forever.
- HealYour main efficient heal. Divine Fury makes it faster.
- Flash HealFor quick spikes when someone drops fast.
- Power Word: ShieldPre-shield the tank on pulls and save people from burst.
- Holy NovaSmall heal for the whole group when everyone takes damage.

- Shadowfang Keep levels 22 to 302 best-in-slot items: Belt of Arugal, Abomination Skin Leggings
- Gnomeregan levels 29 to 381 best-in-slot item: Acidic Walkers
- Razorfen Kraul levels 29 to 381 best-in-slot item: Stygian Bone Amulet
- Scarlet Monastery: Graveyard levels 26 to 361 best-in-slot item: Bloodmage Mantle

Tips
- The point in Spiritual Guidance at 30 turns a little of your Spirit into healing, so Spirit gear helps a bit more.
- Inspiration gives the tank more armor after a crit heal, which helps on hard pulls.
- Fade drops twice as much threat in Forever, so use it the moment a mob turns to you.
- For solo leveling, Smite and a wand work, but many priests level as Shadow and swap for dungeons.
- Divine Spirit is baseline from level 30. Keep it and Power Word: Fortitude on your group.
Macros
Make a macro with /macro in game, paste the text, and drag it to your bar.
Heals your mouseover, then your target, then yourself.
