Sacerdote Shadow guide

Resumen

Shadow is the priest's damage spec. You stack damage over time spells, flay the target with Mind Flay and heal yourself and your party with Vampiric Embrace. Spirit Tap makes leveling smooth because you get mana back after every kill.

How to play it

In order of priority for levels 20 to 30, on one target:

1. Power Word: ShieldPut it on before you pull so casts are not pushed back.
2. Mind BlastOpen with it. Improved Mind Blast lowers its cooldown.
3. Shadow Word: PainKeep it on. The talent makes it last longer.
4. Devouring PlagueAll priests get it at level 20 in Forever. Use it on longer fights.
5. Mind FlayYour filler. It also slows the target.
6. Vampiric EmbracePut it on in groups or on tough mobs so your shadow damage heals you.

Several targets

1. Shadow Word: PainSpread it on 2 or 3 mobs and let it tick.
2. Psychic ScreamFear the pack off you when you get swarmed.

Consejos

• Use a wand to finish mobs and save mana. Upgrade it whenever you can.
• Spirit Tap triggers on kills, so chain pulls back to back for almost no downtime.
• Shadow Weaving stacks up your shadow damage, so keep casting shadow spells on one target.
• Silence at 30 stops a caster cold. Use it in dungeons on healers and big casts.
• Fear Ward is open to every priest at 20 now, and Fade drops twice as much threat.
