The Stockade

Getting there

1. AllianceThe Stockade is in The Canals of Stormwind City, between the Mage Quarter and Old Town.
2. AllianceWarden Thelwater stands outside the gate. The portal is right behind him.
3. HordeHorde can't reach it without fighting through Stormwind. Run Shadowfang Keep or Blackfathom Deeps instead.

Grab these quests first

All Alliance. Many are from other zones, so pick them up while leveling. From Classic Era; may differ in WoW: Forever.

1. AllianceQuell the Uprising: Warden Thelwater, outside the gate. Kill Defias prisoners, convicts and insurgents.
2. AllianceThe Color of Blood: Nikova Raskol, Old Town in Stormwind. Collect Red Wool Bandanas from the inmates.
3. AllianceWhat Comes Around...: Guard Berton, Lakeshire (Redridge Mountains). Bring back the Head of Targorr.
4. AllianceCrime and Punishment: Councilman Millstipe, Darkshire (Duskwood). Bring back the Hand of Dextren Ward.
5. AllianceThe Fury Runs Deep: Motley Garmason, Dun Modr (Wetlands). Bring back the Head of Deepfury.
6. AllianceThe Stockade Riots: Warden Thelwater, after the Bazil Thredd step of the Defias chain in Stormwind. Bring back the Head of Bazil Thredd.

The run, boss by boss

The prison is one hall with side wings. The bosses walk around, so check every wing.

1. The hall is packed with inmates and many of them run for help. Pull slowly and stop runners.
2. Targorr the Dread: an orc in the first wing. Easy. Take his head for Guard Berton.
3. Kam Deepfury: a Dark Iron dwarf in his own cell. He hits hard, so give the tank cooldowns. Drops Kam's Walking Stick.
4. Hamhock: the ogre. He chains lightning and calls nearby inmates, so clear around him.
5. Dextren Ward: he fears, so stand near walls to avoid running into more packs. Take his hand for Councilman Millstipe.
6. Bruegal Ironknuckle (rare, not always up): in the southern wing. Drops Iron Knuckles, Prison Shank and Jimmied Handcuffs.
7. Bazil Thredd: at the end of the main hall. Simple fight. His head is for The Stockade Riots.

After the run

1. Hand in Quell the Uprising and The Stockade Riots to Warden Thelwater right outside, and The Color of Blood in Old Town.
2. Take the heads and hand back to Lakeshire, Darkshire and the Wetlands as you level through.

Tips

• This is a fast dungeon. Many groups run it in under 30 minutes once they know where each boss is.
• Start collecting the out-of-town quests early. Missing one is a lot of lost experience.
• Looking for a group? Use the ONN Dungeon Finder.
