Shadowfang Keep

Getting there

1. HordeFly to The Sepulcher in Silverpine Forest, then ride south down the road.
2. The keep sits on the hill above Pyrewood Village in the south of Silverpine. The portal is at the main gate.
3. AllianceAlliance have a long ride: from Southshore in Hillsbrad Foothills, go west along the road into Silverpine and the keep is on your left.

Grab these quests first

Mostly Horde. From Classic Era; quests may differ in WoW: Forever.

1. HordeDeathstalkers in Shadowfang: High Executor Hadrec, The Sepulcher. Find Deathstalker Adamant and Deathstalker Vincent inside.
2. HordeThe Book of Ur: Keeper Bel'dugur, Undercity (Apothecarium). Find the Book of Ur in the keep.
3. HordeArugal Must Die: Dalar Dawnweaver, The Sepulcher. Bring back Arugal's head. The reward is the Seal of Sylvanas.
4. Warlocks: The Orb of Soran'ruk, Doan Karhan in The Barrens. Collect shards inside SFK and BFD.
5. AlliancePaladins have a class quest here, The Test of Righteousness (Duthorian Rall, Cathedral of Light, Stormwind).
6. AllianceOther Alliance players have no quests here, but the loot is good.

The run, boss by boss

1. Just inside, two prisoners sit in the cells: Sorcerer Ashcrombe (helps Alliance) and Deathstalker Adamant (helps Horde).
2. Rethilgore: the worgen guarding the cells. Kill him, then talk to your faction's prisoner. He opens the courtyard door for you.
3. Watch out for the Fel Steed in the courtyard. When it dies, a Shadow Charger may join the fight.
4. Razorclaw the Butcher: in the kitchen. Drops Butcher's Slicer, Butcher's Cleaver and Bloody Apron.
5. Baron Silverlaine: in the dining hall. Simple fight. Drops Baron's Scepter and Silverlaine's Family Seal.
6. Commander Springvale: on the walls with his guards. He heals and shields himself: interrupt, and kill the adds. Drops Commander's Crest and Arced War Axe.
7. Odo the Blindwatcher: the big worgen near Springvale. He howls to buff himself and can pull nearby packs, so clear around him first. Drops Odo's Ley Staff and Girdle of the Blindwatcher.
8. Fenrus the Devourer: the huge wolf in the room past Odo. When he dies, Arugal appears and sends voidwalkers at you. Drops Fenrus' Hide and Black Wolf Bracers.
9. Wolf Master Nandos: up the tower with a pack of worgen. Pull the wolves off him first. Drops Feline Mantle and Wolfmaster Cape.
10. Archmage Arugal: at the top of the tower. He teleports around the room, casts shadow bolts and turns players into worgen for a short time. Spread out and keep the healer topped up. Drops Meteor Shard, Robes of Arugal and Belt of Arugal.

After the run

1. HordeHand in Arugal Must Die and Deathstalkers in Shadowfang at The Sepulcher.
2. HordeTake The Book of Ur back to Keeper Bel'dugur in the Undercity.

Tips

• The keep has lots of stairs and ledges. Pull packs back to a flat spot so nobody gets knocked into a second group.
• In Classic up to 10 players could enter as a raid. In WoW: Forever the dungeon is capped at 5.
