Ragefire Chasm

Getting there

1. HordeGo to the Cleft of Shadow in Orgrimmar (the low tunnel area on the west side of the city).
2. HordeThe portal is next to Neeru Fireblade's tent. You can walk in straight from the city.
3. AllianceAlliance can't get in without fighting through Orgrimmar. Run The Deadmines or Hall of Thanes instead.

Grab these quests first

All Horde. From Classic Era; quest givers may differ in WoW: Forever.

1. HordeTesting an Enemy's Strength: Rahauro, Thunder Bluff (Elder Rise). Kill the troggs and Ragefire Shamans near the start.
2. HordeSearching for the Lost Satchel: Rahauro again. Find the body of Maur Grimtotem inside and bring back his satchel.
3. HordeSlaying the Beast: Neeru Fireblade, right outside the portal. Bring back the heart of Taragaman the Hungerer.
4. HordeHidden Enemies: the chain from Thrall in Grommash Hold. The dungeon step asks you to kill Bazzalan and Jergosh the Invoker.
5. HordeThe Power to Destroy...: Varimathras, Undercity (Royal Quarter). Collect two books, Spells of Shadow and Incantations from the Nether, from the Searing Blade cultists.

The run, boss by boss

The cave is one loop, so you'll pass every boss.

1. The first stretch is troggs and Ragefire Shamans. Kill the shamans first: they heal.
2. Oggleflint: the trogg chief near the start. Easy. Can drop Oggleflint's Inspirer.
3. Taragaman the Hungerer: the big demon by the lava. He hits everyone close with Fire Nova, so keep healers and casters at range. Drops Cursed Felblade, Crystalline Cuffs and Subterranean Cape.
4. Past Taragaman are the Searing Blade cultists. Their warlocks summon voidwalkers: kill the casters first.
5. Jergosh the Invoker: a cultist leader. He curses and casts shadow bolts. Drops Robe of Evocation, Chanting Blade and Cavedweller Bracers.
6. Bazzalan: the satyr at the end of the loop. He poisons, so cure it if you can.

After the run

1. Hand in Slaying the Beast and Hidden Enemies in Orgrimmar.
2. Take the zeppelin to the Undercity for The Power to Destroy..., and fly to Thunder Bluff for Rahauro's quests.

Tips

• This is the easiest dungeon in the game, which makes it a good first run for a new tank or healer.
• Dungeon quests in the beta give 50% less bonus experience since October 1, but they still add up.
