Route, recipes and skill levels are from Classic Era. WoW: Forever adds over 600 new recipes, so better options may appear and some numbers may differ.

1 to 20: Light Leather
20 to 45: Light Armor Kit
45 to 55: Handstitched Leather Cloak
55 to 100: Embossed Leather Gloves
100 to 125: Fine Leather Belt
125 to 130: Dark Leather Boots
130 to 150: Hillman's Shoulders or Dark Leather Pants
150 to 165: Heavy Leather and Cured Heavy Hide
165 to 180: Heavy Armor Kit
180 to 190: Barbaric Shoulders
190 to 200: Guardian Gloves
200: Artisan Leatherworking
Needs skill 200 and level 35.
200 to 205: Thick Armor Kit
205 to 235: Nightscape Headband
235 to 250: Nightscape Pants
250 to 260: Rugged Armor Kit
260 to 290: Wicked Leather Gauntlets
This one is a vendor pattern, not a trainer recipe.
290 to 300: Runic Leather Headband
Tips
- Level Skinning alongside it. Buying all this leather on the Auction House costs a lot.
- At skill 225 and level 40 you can pick an optional specialization (Dragonscale, Elemental or Tribal). It doesn't change this route.
- Counts are estimates. Yellow recipes don't always give a point, so bring a little extra.
- Armor kits sell well to other players. Post spares, or ask for leather, on the ONN Supply board.
