1 to 40: Linen Bandage

1. Learn Apprentice First Aid from a First Aid trainer in any capital city or starting area.
2. Make about 45 Linen Bandage (1 Linen Cloth each).

40 to 80: Heavy Linen Bandage

1. At skill 50, go back to the trainer and learn Journeyman First Aid.
2. Learn Heavy Linen Bandage from the trainer.
3. Make about 50 Heavy Linen Bandage (2 Linen Cloth each).

80 to 115: Wool Bandage

1. Learn Wool Bandage from the trainer.
2. Make about 40 Wool Bandage (1 Wool Cloth each).

115 to 150: Heavy Wool Bandage

1. Learn Heavy Wool Bandage from the trainer.
2. Make about 45 Heavy Wool Bandage (2 Wool Cloth each). You're now capped at 150.

150: Expert First Aid

You need skill 125 to read the book, but you can only go past 150 once you have it.

1. AllianceTravel to Stromgarde Keep in Arathi Highlands and buy Expert First Aid – Under Wraps from Deneb Walker.
2. HordeTravel to Brackenwall Village in Dustwallow Marsh and buy Expert First Aid – Under Wraps from Balai Lok'Wein.
3. While you're there, also buy Manual: Heavy Silk Bandage and Manual: Mageweave Bandage from the same vendor. It saves a second trip.
4. Read the book to learn Expert First Aid (cap 225), then learn Silk Bandage from any First Aid trainer.

150 to 180: Silk Bandage

1. Make about 35 Silk Bandage (1 Silk Cloth each).

180 to 210: Heavy Silk Bandage

1. Use Manual: Heavy Silk Bandage.
2. Make about 40 Heavy Silk Bandage (2 Silk Cloth each).

210 to 225: Mageweave Bandage

1. Use Manual: Mageweave Bandage.
2. Make about 15 to 20 Mageweave Bandage (1 Mageweave Cloth each) to reach 225. Keep the rest of your Mageweave for after Triage.

225: Artisan First Aid (Triage)

Needs skill 225 and level 35.

1. AllianceTalk to Nissa Firestone in Ironforge to start the quest, then go to Doctor Gustaf VanHowzen in Theramore Isle (Dustwallow Marsh).
2. HordeTalk to Arnok in Orgrimmar to start the quest, then go to Doctor Gregory Victor in Hammerfall (Arathi Highlands).
3. The doctor gives you the Triage quest. Go to the room full of wounded soldiers.
4. Bandage the soldiers using the item the doctor gives you. Critically injured first, then badly injured, then injured. Save 15 before 6 die. If you fail, ask the doctor to start again.
5. Hand in to get Artisan First Aid (cap 300).
6. Learn Heavy Mageweave Bandage, Runecloth Bandage and Heavy Runecloth Bandage from the same doctor.

225 to 260: Mageweave bandages

1. Finish your Mageweave on Mageweave Bandage until it turns green, then switch to Heavy Mageweave Bandage (2 Mageweave Cloth each). About 25 to 30 gets you to 260.

260 to 290: Runecloth Bandage

1. Make about 35 Runecloth Bandage (1 Runecloth each).

290 to 300: Heavy Runecloth Bandage

1. Make about 20 Heavy Runecloth Bandage (2 Runecloth each). Done: 300!

Tips

• Bandaging puts Recently Bandaged on the target for 60 seconds: one bandage a minute per person.
• Any damage interrupts a bandage. Stun or root the monster first, or bandage between pulls.
• Counts are estimates. Yellow recipes don't always give a point, so bring a few extra cloth.
