Blizzard Will Be Taking Action Against Gold Buyers - Potential for Bans

Blizzard has announced that while they have always actioned RMT seller accounts, they will increasingly be taking action against buyers' accounts.

In response to players discussing streamers with mysterious amounts of gold, Blizzard has reminded players of the rules about Real money transactions, especially in WoW: Forever. They note that they have and will continue to always action RMT seller accounts, but they are increasingly taking action against buyer accounts as well. They are looking to remove the illicit gold and potentially take further action, which could include account bans.
